Throughout the house, the furniture, the wallpaper, the lighting and plumbing fixtures blend seamlessly together to create a highly personalized and tailored result. The compliments we receive from friends and visitors are countless, and we find living in the space to be a true retreat. We are completely thrilled and delighted with our new home and feel it is one of a kind on Kiawah.  In fact, we were so pleased with our overall experience that we invited Emily to work with us again on a renovation of our California home.  The resultant transformation to the existing bathrooms is nothing short of staggering, and has had an incredible impact on our home.

Emily takes such obvious pride and enjoyment in her work, it made the daunting process of a distant home renovation an enjoyable experience for us as well!  Any concerns we had about residing out of state and coordinating from afar were eliminated when she presented us with a project timeline and priority checklist.  Throughout the project, Emily was in constant communication with us reporting updates, offering solutions, helping to make decisions, providing resources.  She was our on-site eyes, ears, and voice.

Emily was a real find. I was faced with trying to sell my home of 20 years that should have been worth around $600,000 but was languishing unsold.

Emily came out and spent about an hour reviewing the space and discussing my budget and time frame. In less than a week she gave me 3 pages of detailed recommendations that included both an overall unifying theme and the nuts and bolts of how to achieve it: type of paint, brand, shade, and source. Cabinets, hinges, and handle sizes- style, brand, and finish. Flooring material, format and installation.  She had the same attention to detail throughout her proposal.

If I had to pick Emily’s most important strengths, it would be her knowledge and confidence. No “ummming” or “ahhing”- she was precise and confident throughout the process.
